bhall7
When I ran CCleaner (1.00.077 Beta) on my Mac today, I became curious about the following "Caches" under the Miscellaneous category, which found about 3.5GB of data: Miscellaneous Caches 3,558,961 KB 10,908 files What files are these? Thanks!
Winapp2.ini
Presumably various system caches or other program caches not covered by System categories, perhaps one of the developers can chime in (I don't have a mac, and I don't know if it operates like the windows version where you can see within the program given the right command. winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github

Moderators Nergal Posted January 5, 2013 Moderators Share Posted January 5, 2013 if you are ok with removing those caches it should be well safe to clean them with ccleaner ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
