JamesJ
I have a 64 bit computer with Windows Home Premium. Might seem like a dumb question but should I be using the 32 or 64 bit version of CCleaner? James
Guest TexShane
"quoted off the ccleaner download page" Runs on Microsoft Windows 7, Vista, XP and 2000. Including both 32-bit and 64-bit versions. "of the operating system, ccleaner has no different download for 32 or 64 bit". Last I heard also, I thought piriform dropped 2000 support, but it's still listed on the page, because some old versions work with 2000.
Alan_B
The portable ZIP will give you both CCleaner.exe and CCleaner64.exe With both on a flash drive it makes no difference which you launch - the correct one for the system will operate. If you delete the correct one the other will run but may miss some of the things that would otherwise get zapped. I guess if you install the installer will make the correct decision on which flavour to install.
