Sinneth
I'm looking to buy a new graphics card for my computer and I don't know whether to buy a PCI card or a PCIe card. The mobo info on Speccy tells me I have two PCI slots free and a PCI-X slot. I googled PCI-X and it told me that it is not PCIe, but the slot designation says PCIEX16, which leads me to believe it is actually a PCIe slot. If anyone can clear this up that would be cool, because I'm very confused.

Sinneth
Pci-e is an abreviation . You mean PCI-X, right? I have to be 100 percent sure about this.

redhawk
If you PC is newish and lacks an AGP slot it's more than certain to have a PCI-Express slot. Richard S.
