Speccy crashes at start

Just downloaded Speccy. When ever I run it it immediately gives the must close message. Sometimes it will come up but stays on analyzing until I right click on taskbar to close.

 

I have Dell Demension 8400 3gb memory Win XP Windows Home Media. I am working thru a Windows OS repair and came across this software. I think there is something not correct with my system files but have no idea what Speccy needs. I manually invoked via Run command the debug mode which came up but still crashed when clicked OK. When trying to run program becomes unresponsive.

 

Appreciate pointing me into an area I need to veryify if I have the files needed to run as this OS problem may affect other programs also.
