We come across it all the time, going to a website we visit everyday only to find it won't load. Is it just me you wonder?

I use this site all the time to check if it's down for every one or just me. For this forum I would just put forum.piriform.com in the box. No need to bother with the www bit.

Although I have seen this site before, I have never bookmarked it, this time I will, plus I can make better use of it in other ways too.

Thanks hazelnut.

Edit:

I probably shouldn't question the decision of a mod (but then when does that normally stop me lol), but does this thread belong in the software section? I would of thought the lounge would of been more like it. :P

As it is used in conjunction with a browser, and browsers are software....

And Richard this site is meant for users to be able to bookmark for quick use, and for those who may not be aware of how to use tracert.

I've bookmarked it, and ironically enough immediately after using it I had no access to YouTube, then no access to anything whatosever so I just rebooted my DSL modem, then rebooted Windows to fix the problem.

Just did the same but everything works OK still. Did get a rather blunt message: :P

It's just you. http://forum.piriform.com is up.

Check another site?

The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-)

Pssssst: ... It isn't really a cloud. Its a bunch of big, giant servers.

  • 2 weeks later...

I use the Firefox extension TryAgain which automatically reloads a dead page (at whatever time period you choose) and also offers direct link to the dead page on DownForEveryone, very useful.

Oh and for a little amusement try putting www.downforeveryoneorjustme.com into the downforeveryone box ;)

I visited that link thousand times  to check this forum up or down. Almost 8 months if I remember correctly,I can't access this forum. Don't know why. It said Forbidden bla bla...

Hi, every one :D

Ah abu, now we know why you have not been posting. We thought you had left us :(

Your IP address must have been caught in the spam filter. If this ever happens again, just post from another ip address (your local library or college etc) and let us know you cannot post or get onto the forum and we will try to sort it out with the admins.

You could also try something like http://fetch4.me/ to reach us.

Anyway, it's great to have you back :)
