There are 8 pages of thanks to the dev of the little app.

That little app works fine in Win XP also. :-) Hazel, you are amazing.

The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-)

Pssssst: ... It isn't really a cloud. Its a bunch of big, giant servers.

Pin a few more things to your super bar, Ishan!

Maybe a third thunderbird icon!

lool, I seldom see my desktop, I always have some window maximised, and those pinned things are mostly all I use most of the time. And the two thunderbirds are Version 3 and 5 BETA respectively. :P

Simplicity is hard.

I tried it & I wasn't too impressed.

In XP, you can view gifs in the same viewer that shows pictures.

In 7, you have to do it in internet explorer/firefox/whatever.

Ideally, I hope to find a solution to re-integrate this...

Maybe I will find it one day.

As an experiment, I set it as the default gif viewer in XP and it worked better than the oem viewer.

Don't know how to set default apps in w7, but might work better if you do. :)

I think that is something which the OS doesn't handle itself, check your manufacturer' driver/software page.

Edit: I have realteq HD sound. That was the first thing I tried, but on this particular system, it did not enable bass/treble controls.

I hate running media player with the controls on it, because that only changes the music/vids your playing through media player.

When your playing games/youtube/system sounds etc, it has 0 effect on those when you change settings in WMP.

*Bang head here!

You want one of these :D

I've got 2 (second hand) hooked to my sound card, one for input the other output going to my speaker amp.

Not only does it make your music sound great but the spectrum analyser adds to the audio experience.

Sounds like what you want is a very good speaker set-up with treble/bass controls on the main speaker/console. I have kinda cheap speakers but I can control bass (not treble).

I run all my audio on my Philips Magnavox. It has very good sound.

Under XP, when you use the Max Sound on the stereo + Creative's bass/treble, you have killer audio.

120 watts per side (240 total) + JBL sub

Now, one of those might be nice!

Really nice!

I'm sure you can still find/buy them online, not too cheap though.

I miss TEAC reel to reels.

Criminy! Why not just hook it up to a couple of Marshall stacks.

Online only, I haven't seen any in stores for gobs of years now. And TEAC is a sure bet, their stuff is a bit expensive but gosh is it built good!

I hope you guys aren't using all of this fancy equipment to listen to 192kbps MP3 files

I use it to listen to 128 KB/s & higher MP3.

WMA is out because some burning apps don't support it + they integrate anti-copy abilities, so even though you don't have to lock their songs, I just don't support anti-freedom. So I don't use it. Simple, enough people don't use something, it WILL dissappear.

FLACC is out, because of headaches re-MP3ing it to burn to CD Audio

OGG is out, pretty much same reason.

I just use MP3 because I don't want to:

- Archive music 2x or more

- Have to convert music before burning

- Have to do extra work

I just want it to play.

128 KB/s IS lossy, but it doesn't sound too bad if you adjust settings properly to take out some of the hiss/hum/whatever.

320 is better, but for what I use it for, 128 is fine to save space.
