uuzoo
Hi everyone, I've been using ccleaner for several years with no issues, but just recently I've noticed that it will not clean firefox cache. After it cleans it only says 4 files, and always 4 files have been clean. The box is checked. Firefox is not running. I checked that in my start task manager. I thought that there could be a conflict with another program, so I unistalled 3 programs in which one was my AVG internet security. It was around the time I installed it that i noticed the issue, but it still does it. I'm scratching my head here. Any insights or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks much. P.S. I'm using windows 7 home edition, 64 bit. uuzoo
Alan_B
Security software generally needs more than a "pretty please" to make them vacate the system. You may need for follow the uninstall with additional cleanup tools. The Firefox version may be relevant - always good to know.
Jormungandr
It probably has to do with Firefox itself. I noticed happen to me when I had to use Process Explorer to close Firefox, which doesn't allow the cache to close properly. Uninstalling and re-installing Firefox might work.
