Moderators Andavari Posted May 8, 2011 Moderators Share Posted May 8, 2011 This absolutely won't work because the Firefox user profile name is unique to every install and Windows user profile: [Mozilla FireFox Tidy*] LangSecRef=3022 DetectFile=%Appdata%\Mozilla\FireFox\Profiles\h3nditvq.default\extensions\{3b56bcc7-54e5-44a2-9b44-66c3ef58c13e}\ Default=True FileKey1=%Appdata%\Mozilla\FireFox\Profiles\h3nditvq.default|tidy_base.html FileKey2=%Appdata%\Mozilla\FireFox\Profiles\h3nditvq.default|tidy_cleanup.html I don't use any of those other programs, therefore I don't know if they have a registry key that could instead be detected "Detect=" rather than relying upon an install path detection "DetectFile=". Winapp2.ini
Just another example of why we need wildcard folder support in winapp2.ini ! Given that they have RegKey's, shouldn't they be able to use the paths in the regkeys as detect=? winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
