nodles Posted August 18, 2012 Share Posted August 18, 2012 If that's the registry key it uses I'd say use the "HKLM\Software\Riot Games\League of Legends" one because if someone doesn't have that game installed but instead other Riot Games it would needlessly show up in CCleaner but wouldn't be installed and nothing would be cleaned. Well, they have only one game (League of Legends) at the moment. But anyways it should be changed to "HKLM\Software\Riot Games\League of Legends". So I don't see how CCleaners inability to allow us to clean ini's would matter much, albeit there isn't much or any difference between the two types of settings files. Nergal from your post it looks like you're using the portable build. I wonder how different that is compared to a normal installed build. jonjonjon Posted August 21, 2012 Share Posted August 21, 2012 you should add an entry for 'Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center' which i think replaces IntelliPoint and IntelliType. under these 2 regkeys it creates a subkey for every executable file you run. the only problem with deleting them is if you set any app-specific settings you will also lose those settings. i wasnt sure if these keys also exist for IntelliPoint/IntelliType so i detected it by the install directory instead of the regkeys. thanks and keep up the good work. Moderators Nergal Posted August 22, 2012 Moderators Share Posted August 22, 2012 you should add an entry for 'Microsoft Mouse and Keyboard Center' which i think replaces IntelliPoint and IntelliType. under these 2 regkeys it creates a subkey for every executable file you run. the only problem with deleting them is if you set any app-specific settings you will also lose those settings. i wasnt sure if these keys also exist for IntelliPoint/IntelliType so i detected it by the install directory instead of the regkeys. thanks and keep up the good work.
