update
I have some questions: Is there any way to delete every file on every Disk with a specific Typ, but without a path? e.g. Delete every .xy files And is there any way to make if clauses? That would be verry helpful.. My English is not verry good, but I hope I can help. =)
Winapp2.ini
You could with a broad RECURSE statement, but it'd take ages. No if clauses, though. winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github

Thanks for grabbing my attention. I look forward to trying this, but for the next few days I will be focussed on what applications to add to a brand new Windows 7. At the weekend I gained an SSD and restored an image of both C:\ and the 100 MB System Reserved partitions of the previous HDD. Restoration operation was successful, but the system failed to live, so the Windows Installation Discs had to be used. Regards Alan

Alexei An empty line MAY work today, but it may fail tomorrow if it is not stipulated as a permissible peculiarity. Why not be legal and use an ALMOST empty line, e.g. one of the punctuuation marks such as . , : e.g. Warning=This will degrade internet speed Warning=: Warning=Give up now whilst you can

Winapp2.ini
I was able to do it [WarningTest*] Section=WarningTest Warning=THIS IS LINE ONE THIS IS LINE TWO (hopefully) I used several tabs. It's probably hit or miss depending on line length. I don't know if it varies depending on resolution or not. Developers: Is there a way to do this without tabbing? I tried using an ASCII newline character, but got ♀ Edit: The codebox looks like it changed it to spaces, but it was 13 tabs. My resolution is 1920x1080, and it retained the behavior on a 1440x900, so I assume the box comes in that size standard across resolutions unless they're (for some unknown reason) smaller than the box itself. winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github

On a old laptop with XP and low resolution goes it not good. Possible know the developers a solution for this. _____________________ Best regards …. / _____________/ Alexei The Netherlands

TKruzze
Using the latest version, I'm finding that the wildcard (*) does not seem to be working for RegKey entries on my Windows 7 64-bit system. When I run the addition below, no changes are made to the registry. However, if I modify the code and replace the * with actual numbers (second example below), it cleans just fine. Can anyone else reproduce this behavior or explain why it's happening to me? Thanks. TKruzze
AFAIK: RegKey doesn't support Wildcard (yet) You might want to go through the current .ini, then, as there are several instances of wildcards being used with RegKey. The example I quoted above was directly from the latest Winapp2.ini.
TKruzze
Alright, I lied (a little bit). There are 2 entries in the current ini that make use of wildcards in RegKey. The first one is below: [Macromedia Flashplayer*] LangSecRef=3023 Detect=HKCU\Software\Macromedia\FlashPlayer Default=True RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Macromedia\FlashPlayer|RecentMovie* It's basically useless as is. I would recommend removing it completely from the list unless someone can fix it with the proper entries. Also, I have fixed the entry I reported above and have listed it below. It now works compeltely as it should: [Media Player Classic More*] LangSecRef=3023 Detect=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic Default=False RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 0 RegKey2=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 1 RegKey3=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 2 RegKey4=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 3 RegKey5=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 4 RegKey6=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 5 RegKey7=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 6 RegKey8=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 7 RegKey9=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 8 RegKey10=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 9 RegKey11=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 10 RegKey12=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 11 RegKey13=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 12 RegKey14=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 13 RegKey15=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 14 RegKey16=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 15 RegKey17=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 16 RegKey18=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 17 RegKey19=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 18 RegKey20=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Name 19 RegKey21=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 0 RegKey22=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 1 RegKey23=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 2 RegKey24=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 3 RegKey25=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 4 RegKey26=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 5 RegKey27=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 6 RegKey28=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 7 RegKey29=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 8 RegKey30=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 9 RegKey31=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 10 RegKey32=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 11 RegKey33=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 12 RegKey34=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 13 RegKey35=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 14 RegKey36=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 15 RegKey37=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 16 RegKey38=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 17 RegKey39=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 18 RegKey40=HKCU\Software\Gabest\Media Player Classic\Settings|File Position 19 Thanks for your continued work on the very valuable project!
