Revised Entry

Corrected the detect path and added RegKey1. I have Daemon Tools Lite on my system.

[Daemon Tools More*]
LangSecRef=3024

RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Disc Soft\DAEMON Tools Pro\GuiNamespace|MountFolder

FileKey2=%AppData%\DAEMON Tools*\ImageInfoCache|*.*|RECURSE
FileKey3=%AppData%\DAEMON Tools*|ImgList.dat

I suggest adding 'wwahost.exe.log' in Windows 8 Apps entries.

For Example: %LocalAppData%\Packages\Microsoft.BingNews_8wekyb3d8bbwe\AC\Microsoft\CLR_v4.0\UsageLogs|wwahost.exe.log

www.winapp2.com down?

up for me 1/2 hour later than you checked

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.

Yes. I also tried on 2 other systems without custom hosts. No change.

I'll just wait a few days and see if it doesn't resolve itself.

I can access it through a proxy.

SBCglobal and Comcast aren't allowing the site for whatever reason.

When my Gmail was not accessible I found that the Google Search engine was also broken,

BUT my Startpage Search Engine still got al the results from Google because Startpage is/uses a proxy to protect my privacy from Google.

I could access through a proxy because the proxy used a different Domain Name Server than I was using.

Perhaps your problem is your DNS

Just give me the IP addresses of your Primary and Secondary DNS,

and I will add it to my test script of 29 DNS, each of which can resolve winapp2.com

It will take less than 1 minute for me to run the test on your DNS and advise you.

I think we should change the [indexing Traces*] name to [MS Search More*].

From winapp's hosting company:

[Resolved] Vox Server - Comcast

It appears that the internet provider Comcast has placed some sort of routing block for their customers to our web hosting server Vox. This results in Comcast users unable to access server and any websites hosted on it. This may be confirmed by a Comcast customer by running a traceroute to an affected domain name.

I'm Shane.

Well whatever. It is working now and that's good enough for me. If I was to fully investigate each glitch I'd end up in the psych ward no doubt.

LangSecRef should be changed.

[Realtek Driver Installation Files*]
LangSecRef=3025
Detect=HKLM\SOFTWARE\Realtek
Default=False
Warning=This will delete your Realtek driver installation files.
FileKey1=%SystemDrive%\Drivers|*.*|REMOVESELF

The entries listed below are very aggressive. These should not be in Winapp2.ini.

[Apple Installer Cache*]

[Apple MobileSync Backup*]

[Nvidia Graphics Driver Installation Files*]

[Realtek Driver Installation Files*]
