Winapp2.ini
I think you're incorrect, as according to winapp.ini (the file embedded in CCleaner): [Adobe Reader 10.0] ID=2176 LangSecRef=3021 Detect=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\AVGeneral Default=True RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Acrobat Reader\10.0\AVGeneral\cRecentFiles FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Adobe\Acrobat\10.0\Cache\Search|*.* FileKey2=%LocalLowAppData%\Adobe\Acrobat\10.0\Search|*.* unless acrobat and reader are two different programs, I personally was always under the impression they were the same. winapp2.ini additions thread winapp2.ini github
Moderators Nergal Posted December 30, 2010 Moderators Share Posted December 30, 2010 I believe the poster refers to the non-reader acrobat http://www.adobe.com/products/acrobatpro.html however I can only aid in the cleaning of acrobat standard 9.x as that is all I have in the current winapp2.ini file is [Adobe Acrobat Cache*] LangSecRef=3021 DetectFile=%LocalAppData%\Adobe\Acrobat Default=False FileKey1=%LocalAppData%\Adobe\Acrobat|*.idx|RECURSE has anything change in acrobat x ? what other items would you like to see cleaned in it? we will need (from you) a detectable registry entry or a file or folder which will tell CCleaner that you have A.P.X. installed and all of the locations of the files and/or registry keys you want removed here is an example for Adobe Acrobat 9.0 [Adobe Acrobat 9.0 Most recent Files] LangSecRef=3021 Detect=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\9.0 Default=False RegKey1=HKCU\Software\Adobe\Adobe Acrobat\9.0\AVGeneral\cRecentFiles ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
