mr don
I wish I can clean the registry hives of external computers. Any chance of adding a way to tell CCleaner Registry cleaner to select a registry hive from another PC? Maybe even load & clean multiple hives at once... Thanks! Moderators hazelnut Posted December 5, 2010 Moderators Share Posted December 5, 2010 I think this is just a bit too far fetched MrDon. Next you'll be wanting it to wash the dishes!! mr don
You probably never would use that, Hazel, because your computers are just set up to use in a regular config. People who have to recover files from drives hooked up externally might find it more useful though.
Moderators Nergal Posted December 5, 2010 Moderators Share Posted December 5, 2010 As ccleaner doesn't even clean other users, I doubt it would be an added feature, however no harm in asking. . . ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
