oli
ok i just found this free download/streaming site, its well known and you have probably heard of it http://search.singingfish.com/sfw/home.jsp now they say that this is totally legal to download and listen to the music. i know people are going to say that no free music downloading is legal but i have read through their information and it seems that this is legal. i just wanted to know how everyone else interprets this site. Mike Rochip
I Googled Singingfish and everything I found was positive. Apparently it's a good site that keeps getting better. It's now owned by AOL and since AOL has decided to be nice to everyone (even non-subscribers) they seem to be making a genuine effort to provide usefull and interesting content on the Web. I searched a few obscure artists I like and found songs and video which really surprised me. I'd heard of Singingfish and tried it quite a while ago and wasn't impressed at all but this new version is totally different than what I remember. Thanks for the heads-up! I'm curious what others will say about this site.

slowday444
OK, help this father of four out. I'll call the kids if I have to, but prefer to impress them. I have Windows XP and a couple of media players (if I need one). How do I burn a song from this site on to a CD? Please walk me through! Thank You! oli
download the song ( not all can be downloaded due to permissions) you click on the bit at the bottom of each result where it says something like mp3 128k. if it downloads u then just u a cd burner to put it on a cd. eg http://www.cdburnerxp.se/index.php which is free you could also possibly use the media players. which ones do u have Homer: I never apologise, im sorry Lisa. slowday444
RealPlayer, Windows Media and also a program called Sonic Record Now. Also, my system came with Samsung 48X CDRW. I guess one of my main questions is do I have to download it to a file first or can it just be burnt on to a cd?
Moderators rridgely Posted November 6, 2005 Moderators Share Posted November 6, 2005 No you have to actually download the file first and then drag it into sonic record now!(thats the best out of the three you have). When you open up sonic make sure you choose audio disc and then it should be pretty easy to understand.

What does the '?' sign at begining and end do and where you learned that? Where you learned to use dot instead of space to separte word. I thought intitle:"index of /" was the syntax to use.
