Deke40
I have an old shot of my entire desktop with the CC icon on my taskbar without the broom but just noticed today that there is a broom on the icon on my taskbar. Did this happen with the newest version of CCleaner? I know I am over 70 and my mind is slowly loosing some of it's retentive power but not a warp speed. Take Care Deke40

Moderators Andavari Posted November 17, 2010 Moderators Share Posted November 17, 2010 From what I remember the broom has always been there, however in previous versions it was more subtle, now it pops and is very noticeable. Even in your post on DSL reports I see the broom in that old screenshot.
login123
You have a good eye, Deke40. The new broom is brighter. Oldest on filehippo is v.1.16.082. Newest is 3.1310. . . . The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-) Pssssst: ... It isn't really a cloud. Its a bunch of big, giant servers. I've always seen the broom. Okay, is it just me or does v1.xx look better? Simplicity is hard.
Moderators Nergal Posted November 17, 2010 Moderators Share Posted November 17, 2010 Okay, is it just me or does v1.xx look better? I'm not even gonna touch that question with your broom. (already a topic on that any one posting to this topic, do not express an opinion on the better/worse look here, do it in that topic ) ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
