ishan_rulz
Can there be a tool that will delete dead shortcuts on the start menu and/or desktop. There was one such feature in Your Uninstaller! and out of the 421 folders/shortcuts on my Menu, 53 were dead. It fixed it, phew. So, is this feasible? Comments. Simplicity is hard. Moderators Andavari Posted November 9, 2010 Moderators Share Posted November 9, 2010 Strange, never saw that before. Okay thanks. It works good however it can slowdown CCleaner, well at least on CCleaner's first run in a Windows session. I only enable it after uninstalling software. Even then, no more than 10 to 15 seconds max. Have you tried checking how much RAM you have in use as opposed to how much you have on the computer? P.S. Do not forget when calculating, that other things such as a lot of computers these days will commonly have 128 MB "shared" video that takes it from your system mem & will skew your numbers...
