Andy T
Running CCleaner's registry cleaner results in 'loss' of Acronis shortcut icons (Disk Director, True Image and On-line Backup - current and previous versions (11, 2011, 10, 2010) under windows xp sp3 fully patched and windows 7 fully patched. Note, link to .exe remains active; either .ico deleted or link lost? I note too that upadates to windows 7 can have a similar effect (may be one for MS/Acronis) - your comments please. Moderators Nergal Posted October 15, 2010 Moderators Share Posted October 15, 2010 Please read my Advice in my signature regarding registry cleaning ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
