Dimitris Digas
Hello all, I would like to suggest adding cleanup for IE7 & IE8 HotFix Uninstallers always located in %WINDIR%\ie7updates & %WINDIR%\ie8updates respectively. This is common for all Microsoft OSs I have checked (WinXP / WinVista / Win2003 / Win7). Inside the above folders HotFix uninstallers are placed with KBxxxxxx as folder names. Best Regards,
Moderators Nergal Posted October 1, 2010 Moderators Share Posted October 1, 2010 Microsoft does not wish any hotfix folders/files to be cleaned in Vista and newer. In 2000/2003/XP hotfixes that are allowed to are cleaned. ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF. Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark) ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
