Moderators rridgely Posted October 28, 2005 Moderators Share Posted October 28, 2005 CCleaner dosen't make a back up with its cleaning features. It only backs up issues scans. Try this for the shutting down: http://forum.CCleaner.com/index.php?showtopic=1192 Post back and let us know how it goes.

Moderators rridgely Posted October 28, 2005 Moderators Share Posted October 28, 2005 You can do one of two things. Tell CCleaner not to clean any cookies(check the box). Or go to options>cookies and select the ones you want it to keep(I suggest the second option).
