wgan
for a substitution of dreamweaver (since it expired), I've tried amaya, it's powerful but I don't feel much comfortable in some ways, could you recommand one which is free. I tried a lot of searches (filehippo, softpedia, freewarefiles etc) but hardly found a good one.
wgan
Hi, I've just found one which seems pretty nice so far, check http://www.nvu.com/ you might get a real good free substitution of dreamweaver or frontpage. It's strange that I never heard about it before, anyway, give it a try if you're looking for this kind of freeware (and it's open source). cheers

Eldmannen
I do all my work in Notepad. Besure to validate your page so that it is valid. And be sure to follow the webstandards.
Moderators Andavari Posted October 17, 2005 Moderators Share Posted October 17, 2005 I generally do all mine in metapad, or Notepad. However if I want to do something a bit more complexed than my skills allow for in metapad or Notepad I instead use Mozilla Composer which comes with Mozilla Suite.
