jeffrandall
Please consider adding the DivX Player to CCleaner's list of Multimedia Applications MRUs that are cleaned. Thanks.
Moderators rridgely Posted October 13, 2005 Moderators Share Posted October 13, 2005 Hello, you can add divx to CCleaner on you own through a file called winapp2.ini. No one has written a entry for it yet but here are the instructions on how to do it your self. http://forum.CCleaner.com/index.php?showtopic=1110
jeffrandall
Thanks, I now think I understand why no one has added DivX Player to winapp2.ini. After searching the registry and my personal settings looking for the place where the DivX Player MRU list is stored I accidently discovered it is contained in some kind of binary.dbf file in the DivX directory in Program Files along with the User preference data. ARRRGH! I can of course delete it with the Options|Custom|Add file feature, but I'll loose all my preferences If I missed something, please set me straight. Moderators rridgely Posted October 13, 2005 Moderators Share Posted October 13, 2005 To be honest I never really used the divx player so I don't know where is stores anything. What are you doing with it? Encoding or just watching?
jeffrandall
Both encoding and watching, but it is not a big deal. It's not a great player, but it is small and I can run multiple instances at the same time. Thanks for the help and pointing me to the add-it-yourself ini instructions.
