Kelvin_Slim
Hello everyone. I just wanna reconfirm something. Once CCcleaner has been installed on my PC, i noticed that my facebook profile is not logged on at all times. AFter installing CCcleaner, im asked to reenter my password everytime i log in. Is this due to CCcleaner. I appreciate all your comments and feedback. Thank you.
Willy2
I don't use Facebook but perhaps I can offer some help. Something similar happens when I wipe all the cookies from my harddisk. Then I have to log in again on the websites and forums I regularly visit, like e.g. the Piriform forum. So, it looks like that Facebook login information is stored in a cookie. And that's why CC is such a wonderful tool, it allows the user to select which cookies are to be preserved. If you're using Facebook then I think you should visit the webpage below: http://www.albumoftheday.com/facebook/ System setup: http://speccy.piriform.com/results/gcNzIPEjEb0B2khOOBVCHPc A discussion always stimulates the braincells !!! Willy2
Some forums/websites explicitely state that the user must allow cookies to be stored on one's harddisk. Moderators DennisD Posted May 21, 2010 Moderators Share Posted May 21, 2010 Hi Kelvin, and welcome to Piriform. In case you're not sure of the "how to", you can keep your Facebook cookie if you wish by logging on to Facebook, and then after closing down your browser, launch CCleaner and go to "Options\Cookies", where you should find the Facebook cookie in the "Cookies To Delete" window. Move it across to the "Cookies To Keep" window, and that will retain your login details. Hope that helps.
