Cleaning Up After Opera 8.5 / Adding Custom Folder

Voodoo II

Recommended Posts

While I think CCleaner is a very good product overall, it does seem to have 2 bugs.

Under "Applications" --> "Opera", CCleaner does not seem to know where the Opera 8.5 cache really is located and does not seem to allow reconfiguring to where the cache really is. This may be in part due to the fact that I do not install applications in the "default" location, but rather to a different drive and folder.

I then tried to compensate by using "Options" --> "Custom" --> "Add Folder" and entered the actual cache folder & path. While it shows the folder I indicated in the list, it did not clean out that folder.

Any suggestions?

Thanks for a great product.

Your right its because you didnt install it in the default location. Make sure you have the box Custom files and folders checked under advanced in the windows tab. This tells CCleaner to empty custom folders. Let me know if it works.
