On http://docs.piriform.com/ccleaner/advanced...rs-ini-files-do you say about the winapp1.ini, that any applications you list in it will replace the default applications on the Applications tab of the Cleaner area.

The truth is, that the winapp1.ini will replace the embedded winapp.ini completely.

I'd apreciate very much, if the winapp1.ini would really only replace the applications listed in it and leave all other applications in the embedded winapp.ini.

I didn't even know winapp1 was possible.

after some testing I have learned

yes, winapp1.ini will tell ccleaner to ignore the winapp that is embedded

so my advice to you is

1) Put the changes you want in winapp2 (as aethec suggested)

or

2) get the winapp.ini from embedded ini thread rename it winapp1.ini and delete or change what you want deleted or changed

ADVICE FOR USING CCleaner'S REGISTRY INTEGRITY SECTION

DON'T JUST CLEAN EVERYTHING THAT'S CHECKED OFF.

Do your Registry Cleaning in small bits (at the very least Check-mark by Check-mark)

ALWAYS BACKUP THE ENTRY, YOU NEVER KNOW WHAT YOU'LL BREAK IF YOU DON'T.
