redhawk
My ISP Virgin Media is suppose to be 10megs and yet the past few weeks I'm barley scratching the bandwidth requires to play YouTube videos. So on a few days I'm just able to watch a video clip and moments like right now it's buffering like crazy. One thing I can be certain is this problem is not my cable modem setup because I have no problems using rival video sites like Dailymotion. So I was wondering does anyone know if YouTube has some kind of bandwidth control or is my ISP deliberately shafting my connection?? Richard S. Moderators Andavari Posted March 28, 2010 Moderators Share Posted March 28, 2010 Virgin is too busy funding their F1 team. I've always had buffering issues on YouTube! What I always do is let videos buffer for about one to two minutes before even attempting to watch them.

Tunerz
I may not be helpful but I too got that problem recently. I thought only those affected by the cable breakage in Asia is having buffering problems, seems that others have it too.

Hi Redhawk I was with Virgin and they will choke your connection especially after 6 at night they did it to me so I left as soon as I could. Sorry I could not be more helpfull but this may confirm your suspicions.
