DAT files

Hi, I know there are multiple dat files and here's my question:

 

Currently CC clears all dat files. Really, I'd like it to clear Temp Int files and leave cookie file DAT alone....or better worded, I'd like to leave cookies fully intact but clear the Temp Int files/DAT file.

 

I used to use SysSecure and it worked that way.

 

 

 

The question: What happens to the cookies themselves if the DAT file is removed? Do the cookies stay in use OK, or if the DAT file is killed, the cookies are killed too?
