Years since i had to work out gravity/speed/time (help)

a 1000kg object falling from 100m

 

what would be the formula????

 

 

 

got 3'bs in science gcse <-- fail :(

 

 

edit * im told it's 9.81 m/s

I was muttering on, since gravitys pull is always the same,

 

Just wanted to work out how long it would take an object to fall 150ft, i got it in the end

i'm not good in physics... :P but as i know:

is falling time related to object's weight?

 

i'm not sure coz i'm not really remember all these stuffs... but if it's no, simply:

t = 100 / 9.81

t = 10.194s
