I have scrolled to the bottom of the gmail page and clicked on the 'turn off Buzz' The Buzz symbol goes then. If you read that link some people reported users being able to access other peoples profiles in Buzz when those people weren't using it. That's why I turned mine off for now. I love Gmail and Google products, but this is a disgrace. I have turned it off and edited my profile. It really makes me wonder what scary ideas Google has for the future.
