Moderators hazelnut Posted February 5, 2010 Moderators Share Posted February 5, 2010 Although still in beta, NirLauncher is a package of more than 100 portable freeware utilities for Windows, all of them developed for the NirSoft Web site during the last few years. http://launcher.nirsoft.net/ It's surprising just what is included when you have a look at the Utility list via the website tab. NOTE... you may have to exempt the Launcher from scans to keep it intact, some virus programs don't like some of Nirsoft's programs. Icedrake
This looks like a great utility. Now I'll have to make a post on my website about it. Thanks Hazel.
Moderators Andavari Posted February 6, 2010 Moderators Share Posted February 6, 2010 The amount of freeware he gives away is rather mind boggling and I use a ton of it. I'll check out the NirLauncher once it's out of beta.

login123
Nice! FYI, I unzipped the beta 3 and scanned it, Avast remained silent, MBAM triggered on 2 files: Files Infected: c:\documents and settings\...\NirSoft\astlog.exe (HackTool.Asterisk) -> No action taken. c:\documents and settings\...\NirSoft\rdpv.exe (Password.Stealer) -> No action taken. Edit: and those ran OK. The CCleaner SLIM version is always released a bit after any new version; when it is it will be HERE :-) Pssssst: ... It isn't really a cloud. Its a bunch of big, giant servers.
