mr don
Recuva does fine, ordinarily, but after wiping with Eraser, & it shows 0 KB files to recover, but it cannot delete them because they are 0 KB (nothing to erase?) Is this fixable? I do hope I can wipe 0 kb files, if for nothing else, to get them gone! Thanks!
Moderators Augeas Posted December 29, 2009 Moderators Share Posted December 29, 2009 Well Don, I wouldn't dream of suggesting that you've spent an evening of festive imbibing, but I am intrigued by the philosphical concept of overwriting nothing. It may be that you mean overwriting the file names in the MFT, which is possible with CCleaner and, I believe, Eraser, but that would be altogether too sensible and boring an answer.
