NOELNOEL
Please help - I can't get a simple description of what the "Wipe Free Space" function is actually for? Is it to hide deleted files? I don't have anything I want to hide on this computer -- should I therefore ignore this function? it sounds like it has potentially dangerous sside effects anyway. Many thanks, NOEL NOEL
Moderators DennisD Posted December 2, 2009 Moderators Share Posted December 2, 2009 Hi NOEL NOEL, and welcome to Piriform. If you've nothing to hide in way of personal details etc, then you need never use it. I tried it once out of curiosity, and so I had an inkling of what I was talking about, and I've never used it since. Hope that helps. EDIT: A description here. http://docs.piriform.com/ccleaner/using-cc...free-disk-space
