Capman
Mangix, I have been having the same problem, the dll that I downloaded was the same version as my original one. Luckily the original themes are still working for me, although I had to select the windows xp theme and make all my own modifications again. I am going to keep an eye on this thread to see if anything works for you. @Tarun Supports Vista styles, and compact takbar/menus, etc. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> taskbar

Ultimate Predator
And what exactly does that do? And where do I get it? And I'm not sure, according to Manginx "my UXTheme patch killed my comp". Doesn't sound good......!
Tarun
It fixes your UXTheme.dll file so that you can use Unofficial/Unsigned desktop themes, that are not signed by Microsoft.

Capman
I finally got this to work, if anyone else is still trying then give this a go. Download the UxTheme.dll from Lunarsoft. You will find it in this thread. Extract the uxtheme.dll file to your desktop. Restart in Safe Mode, Navigate to C:\WINDOWS\system32\DllCache, rename uxtheme.dll to uxtheme.dll.bak, Then copy the uxtheme.dll that is on your desktop and paste it into C:\WINDOWS\system32\DllCache. Then Navigate to C:\WINDOWS\system32, rename uxtheme.dll to uxtheme.dll.bak, Then paste the uxtheme.dll into C:\WINDOWS\system32. Restart the computer. Hopefully you have already downloaded and installed LE4.exe, you should now have no problem applying the theme.
