makeshift213
I occassionally will run the wipe free space option, but there was a time I accidently ran it when I didn't want to. After cancelling the operation, the day after I noticed a substantial amount of hard drive memory gone--to be exact I went from 166GB to 117GB. Is there anyway to clear the cache, perse, or any other option to reverse this. Quite possibly, any ideas what else could be causing this.
Moderators DennisD Posted August 5, 2009 Moderators Share Posted August 5, 2009 Hi, and welcome to Piriform. If Wipe Free Space didn't finish, there will probably be a large temp file lying in the root directory (C:). It may have a weird name, but it will need deleting. Hope that helps.
