3k3
In 'Registry Integrity' two entries come up with the extensions .vpu and .ref as 'Unused File Extensions'. My AV Avast Home uses .vpu and Lavasoft Adaware uses .ref. Could somebody please tell me why these come up, as I have not uninstalled these programs. Is there a way I can make them not come up, as the programs are using them?? Any help much appreciated!!
Doe Ray Me
As far as i know, It finds File Extentions you dont use, meaning, you dont go and open the file yourself, so they dont get used, only used as definitions Maybe wrong though
Guest Mangix
...no unused file extensions are file extensions that are not associated with any program. here is an example i have a file called mangix.man when i double click it, there is no program that opens it by default. so i have to chose which one. when i do, then CCleaner doesnt complain about it being unused.
