I'm already paranoid enough, lol. Sad, though, that people assume that these programs actually do a good job. It looks as though it needs to be pre-installed in order to even work remotely. And it only works on Windows' OSes. Unfortunately for my partner, if I were to ever "communicate with my mister/mistress," I would be sure to run a Linux LiveCD. I am far too paranoid to trust a readily installed computer in which there are a mass of programs in which I, myself, did not have a decision in installing. Just sayin', y'know? Fantasy is the celebration of what we no longer are: individuals certain of our meaningfulness in a meaningful world. The wish-fulfillment that distinguishes fantasy from other genres is not to be the all-conquering hero, but to live in a meaningful world. The fact that such worlds are enchanted worlds, worlds steeped in magic, simply demonstrates the severity of our contemporary crisis.Scott R. Bakker, Why Fantasy and Why Now? YoKenny
US court orders keylogger CyberSpy to halt software salesBy Joel Hruska | Published: November 18, 2008 - 07:37PM CT The government's antimalware efforts don't receive as much attention as those of private businesses (perhaps because said efforts are perceived as having no observable impact), but the Federal Trade Commission (FTC), Department of Justice (DoJ), and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) all work towards securing cyberspace. Yesterday, the FTC secured a temporary injunction against the keylogger software vendor CyberSpy, ordering that company to cease and desist from selling its product online. http://arstechnica.com/news.ars/post/20081...ware-sales.html "Education is what remains after one has forgotten everything he learned in school." - Albert Einstein IE7Pro user
Talldog9
I use 'Best Free Keylogger (BFK)'. I had to get it from keylogger.org though since the author site seems to be dead. Talldog9
Since I often use crashable bleeding edge software I've learned a long time ago to have a backup of my text. Nothing worse than losing a just-typed paragraph. This is mthe only reason I need it really. A clipboard history utility is also handy.
