Moderators DennisD Posted November 7, 2008 Author Moderators Share Posted November 7, 2008 I always use the combination of Shrink and the original DVD Decrypter to compress and burn in one operation, but the freeware version of DVD Fab has the ability to process only the main movie and relevant soundtrack. Saves the time of having to process the entire disk with all the useless rubbish with it, and then split them in Shrink. Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

However I use it to also backup the series off TV that I want to keep, and I like how easy it is to edit out commercials with it before encoding to Xvid. I don't know what compatibility modes Vista has however right clicking the program file "C:\Program Files\DVD Shrink\DVD Shrink 3.2.exe" may give some options.
