Silent mode

Hi,

I would like to run CCleaner in my network and I would NOT like the users to interfere with the program.

The /AUTO keeps icon in the tray bar and the users can click it and stop the software.

Is there a way to run it in a complete silent mode?

Many Thanks

N Caster

On Windows XP (I don't know about Vista) you can have the tray notifications icons hidden at all times.

To do this with Customize Notifications:

1. Right click the Taskbar and select Properties.

2. Click Customize.

3. Find CCleaner, then use the drop down box and select Always hide.

4. Then to finish keep clicking OK to exit Customize Notifications.

Note that this may or will cause some temporary problems with running browsers like Firefox if the user doesn't know CCleaner is running! Closing Firefox, then running CCleaner again, and then finally reopening Firefox will fix the issue.
