Eldmannen Posted July 11, 2005 Share Posted July 11, 2005 Blender is good 3D modelling. Wings3D I also heard is good. GIMP is good for graphics editing. But for game developement you must be pretty good at computers. There is also SDL (Simple DirectMedia Layer) that you can use. And there are SDK and engines but it depends on what type of game you want to make. You probably should visit some game-developement community where people know alot about these kinds of stuff.
