DeepScan Crash on USB Drive

I was doing a Deep Scan on my 4gig PNY thumb drive & it would get to about 60% then lock, then crash & i'll have to hit the windows "an error has occured.."blah button of death to close it. I ran it in debug & like a good swiss watch, it happened again. btw, I have Recuva on my laptop & was scanning the drive, not running it from the PNY itself ... I'm pasting the log below:
