Newhotness
Hi all, so a friend of mine at work has just realized that a VERY important folder has just been deleted. This folder was on a network drive, and she doesn't know who deleted the folder, she just needs it back. Any suggestions?
DjLizard
Stop using the drive immediately. The more you [or the OS] writes to it, the more you lose. Move the drive to another machine, as a slave drive. Test a product such as GetDataBack NTFS (if the drive is NTFS) : http://www.runtime.org/gdbnt.zip (Install the program to the host operating system, not the drive which needs recovery!) It'll be a demo, but it will give you an idea of whether you're going to get the directory back or not. I use this program a lot (as well as Ontrack's EasyRecovery Pro) Click here if CCleaner Issues are re-appearing DjLizard.net DjLizard.net wiki Dial-a-fix Dial-a-fix tips DjLizard.net software support forum Do you live in Bradenton, Sarasota, Tampa, or St. Petersburg, Florida?
