Internet Speed

Edit: I have 8Mb/1Mb ADSL. I can upgrade it up to 24Mb. I need to buy a new ADSL-modem then though. My current ADSL-card only supports up to 8Mb. I think i will go with that 24Mb rather soon.

What would be a decent speed for $20?

What do you have something like DSL at 1.5 Mbps down speed? If so you'll be lucky to get a test of 1.2 on those sites.

I never expect to get the full bandwidth I pay for <_< as I've never seen that happen during any test.

With Qwest/Colorado, uploads in all connection plans are set at 896 Kbps. This includes the mighty 20 Mbps highway.

My download speed is 1637 kbps and the upload speed is 329 kbps.

It should be normal if you pay for a 1.5 Mbps connection, like a slow DSL connection, etc.

The only problem though is your screenshot shows your IP address, which any sight seeing monkey with bad intentions could target you!

There is little point in online speed testing because if you try several different website tests you will find they all say something different. The Internet is way too dynamic for a accurate speed test. I even got one result that said my connection was faster than is actually possible according to what my provider states
