USB ports

I have two USB ports on my computer. For some reason, my wireless connection won't work when I put the adapter in one of the ports, but it will in the other port.

I know there's no problem with the adapter or with the router because they both work fine when I use the other port.

Equally, all other bits of hardware seem to work fine in BOTH ports.

Does anyone have any idea as to what I need to do to make the wireless adapter work in both ports?

Hi Canary ;)

I've had a similar experience with my camera.

If I connect it to the USB port that I used the very first time, I have no problems.

If I use a different port' Windows or the cameras image acquisition software doesn't seem to detect the camera
