ybouan
I run everything silently. I would love to have a log with any or all of this: - the number of items removed/cleaned - the space freed up - the folder, indvidual files, and keys modified

Capman
When it cleans, right click where it says what it has cleaned and you can optionally save a log. <{POST_SNAPBACK}> I have just learnt from that as well, only thing is you can't set the option to automatically close CCleaner after cleaning, which is what I used to do. Xepha
Hello, Sorry for bumping an old thread, but as this suggestion is something that I was looking for myself I thought I'd post here. I know this would be in opposition to what CCleaner is about (deleting stuff!) but it would be very handy if it could be made to create a log file when the program is run silently. At the moment I run it weekly with the /auto switch, along with a bunch of other programs (defrag, virus scan, spybot, etc) using Window's Task Scheduler during the early hours when I'm asleep. In the morning I make a point of checking various logs to see if everything went smoothly. The only thing I don't know is what CCleaner has been up to! Anywho, good work with the program - keep it up! --- Xepha
