remove registry entries?

Hello,

I have one important question:

I analiezed my registry with CCleaner and he found many entries, which I can delete!

I don`t dare to delete all of them, because I have read too much of problems, which had other users by deleting all suggested entries.

But I also found many entries of programms which I have allready uninstalled!

My question is, am I safe if I only delete those entries, which concern to those programms which I allready have uninstalled?

Or can also this cause problems for my system?

I don`t want to touch those entries, from which I don`t know what they are. is this ok?

Am I right that I can exclude entries from being deleted by deactivating those entries on the left side of the entries?

Thank you very much for your answers and advices

Greats

I have always removed all the entries that CCleaner finds and never once had a problem. Plus, you can make a backup of them. If you want to be safe, yes only remove the entries to programs you have uninstalled. Unchecking them will cause them to not be removed by CCleaner.
