Caldor
Yes I hope stability is better too. I dont use the 64bit browser as no browser helper objects I need are compiled for x64.
craigathus
Hi TwistedMetal , I'm only using "IE7" not "IE7Pro", is IE7Pro more secure? Slightly off topic, over the last few days when launching IE7, it starts and displays (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx) instead of my home page? I'm being prompted to get "IE7" ? However just above the links to (Take a tour & Get add-ons) it says you are using Internet Explorer 7 http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds http://www.piriform.com/docs http://www.postimage.org/
Caldor
Mate Im not using it anymore. Its still not robust. Crashes, sent down my windows reliability index. Its actually the worst browser helper object Ive ever installed.

Hi Caldor , do you mean "IE7Pro" add-on? http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds http://www.piriform.com/docs http://www.postimage.org/
Moderators Andavari Posted January 5, 2008 Moderators Share Posted January 5, 2008 is IE7Pro more secure? I wouldn't call it more "secure" because the security itself is built into IE7. However; IE7Pro does have an Adblocker built in that can be customized with your own filters.

About IE7 starting and going directly to (http://www.microsoft.com/windows/downloads/ie/getitnow.mspx) should I be concerned? Could this be happening because I have (Automatically check for Internet Explorer updates) enabled in Internet Options? http://www.piriform.com/ccleaner/builds http://www.piriform.com/docs http://www.postimage.org/
