It would come in very handy for using archival quality when ripping audio CD's as all files could be ripped to lossless audio formats such as FLAC and WavPack, while at the same time you could still have enough space to encode an MP3, or AAC, or whatever lossy version for your portable player. I heard that triple SLI thing was a fake though....it would be nice...but I don't know of any motherboard that supports that yet. If it was true, I think Maximum PC would have commented on it either in their magazine or on their podcast.
