CCleaner help file included with installation package

Why isn't BeginnersGuide.chm included in the installation package. I know it says to reduce the size of the installer but CCleaner v2.02.527 is 2,662Kb and the help file is only 57Kb so that isn't going to make much difference. I know you can download BeginnersGuide.zip seperately but I can't find the link anymore.

I write programmes and I wouldn't dream of not adding the help file to an installation package just because its a few Kb larger. If users don't have web access then they can't access any help. ;)

Thanks for the link hazelnut, I knew I had seen it somewhere. This will be a useful link for CCleaner users that don't know that an help file exists.

Any thoughts about Piriform added an help file to the installation package? ;)

It has been suggested before as you can imagine, it's really up to MrG the developer.

In the meantime it's great to have such a good helpfile to link to.

I agree that a help file should be included as it would negate many of the repeated over and over and over questions that pop up each week. However there seems to be a trend in recent years where more and more software titles are going to online help via a Wiki, and as TwistedMetal has done with the Beginner's Guide on his website. Just be glad he's taken the time to compile it in a downloadable form, that being the CHM file.

But there really should be a link to it within CCleaner? Can't be too hard and would save us all answering some of the same questions over and over again.
