Stephen
My daughter's speakers blew out last night. She uses them primarily to listen to ITunes and YouTube, with an occasional game thrown in. I'm looking for a replacement set - not more than $150 but preferably less. I'm interested in suggestions for the best quality set I can get in my price range. Moderators Andavari Posted October 10, 2007 Moderators Share Posted October 10, 2007 Altec Lansing has my vote, as they're somewhat inexpensive but at the same time they're not cheap.

JAGO
I'm a bit of an audiophile.... the Klipsch speakers will be, by notable margin, your best bet .

Caldor
Second hand near field reference monitors (mag shielded) is what I recommend. All the so called computer ones are junkish IMHO.
