Madmartigan
A relative of mine was needing to transfer a lot of data files (I have no idea of what kinds) for OS X 9 to a windows based computer, probably XP. I have been looking at software and was wondering if anyone had any experience or advice on the best way to do this. It is for the business he is in charge of so they are pretty important files. Thanks for the help.
Moderators rridgely Posted October 2, 2007 Moderators Share Posted October 2, 2007 Your going to have to ask them at least what programs the files are from and even better what the file extensions are.
Madmartigan
I talked to him and all he could tell me was that it was Great Plains Accounting 7.1 on Mac OS 9 that needs to be converted to Microsoft Dynamics 10.0 SQL 2005. Any help or ideas would be appreciated.
Moderators rridgely Posted October 3, 2007 Moderators Share Posted October 3, 2007 yeah, I dont know anything about those programs. Sadly though because they seem like completely different types of files the programs may not be compatible.(meaning he possibly might have to do it by hand). I'll look around for converters later though.
