Guest MrT
Welcome to the Piriform Forums! There have been similar bug reports similar to yours. The current understanding for those having problems is to downgrade and go back to version 1.41 until version 2 has some fixes. Version 1.41 is available at: http://www.filehippo.com/download_ccleaner/?2927 This means that when you start CCleaner, it is running the scanning process and it is finding a problem with the "Cookies" option. Uncheck this option under "Internet Explorer" node and run the scanning process again. It shouldn't fail now, but that will also not clean your cookies... Anyway, whenever you see SK=Cookies, means that there was a problem cleaning/scanning that option. Another example code be SK=Temporary Internet Files and so on... I hope this helps!
